Follow up

Okay, yesterday we had a lecture in the computer lab (which is how I was able to post from lecture).
Anyway, the reason it stunk so bad is that nothing worked. He evidently didn't try out his technical stuff prior to lecture, and the meager computing resources here did not help the situation.
Seriously, the computer labs here are like, 5 years out of date. It's kind of pathetic when you are using a Pentium III computer for a multimedia presentation over a network.
Where is my tuition money going?

Anyway, long story short, it was so bad the professor ended it lik 15 minutes after starting it.
What a waste of time.

Worst Lecture Ever

Right now I'm sitting in the worst lecture I've ever attended.

2005 already?

Here we are January 2nd. This is the year I turn 30, and I'm not sure how to feel about that. I think it's good. Life is going well for me, and I feel like I'm doing all of the things I always said I would do. Things are pretty much on schedule for me, and hopefully they stay that way.

Med school is going great, and I'm looking forward to this semester. We have Physiology, Neuroscience, and Cell/Tissue Biology. All of which seem pretty interesting, and I'm sure they will present a challenge.

Other than that, the past two weeks have been a relaxing break. I needed a mental recharge after finals, and it's been nice to not really do anything. I think I'll miss sleeping in though.

I guess I'm starting the new year as optimistic as ever, and look I'm looking forward to see how it turns out.
